27. Photography of the production

This is a screenshot of all of our footage on Adobe Premier Pro CC. We Started creating our first advert and placed the respective footage onto the timeline. We also placed two other camera shots that show Ross and Michael’s facial expressions. We will use these as transitional shots as the mid shot will be the primary shot used.

We have now added our footage for the second advert. However, we do not have as much footage so will use game play footage which I recorded.

Update on Main Task
The adverts will both start with Michael playing Evil Clutches. He will be holding a controller and will be very enthusiastic about what he is doing. Ross will the enter and inquire about what Michael is doing. This is where the two adverts set themselves apart, one opts for promoting the game as a great product whereas the other opts for a more jokey interpretation of the games effects on the player. The jokey one involves Michael claiming the persona of a character from the medieval period. This humorous nature of this was used by us in order to ensure the audience would be entertained as if this is the case then it is more likely that they will purchase the product. The other advert involves Michael promoting the game in an exaggerated fashion. He talks about how incredible the game is and even snatches the controller away from Ross in order to get even more enjoyment out of the game.

We have started recording today in the media recording studio, Michael, Connor and Chloe kindly helped act out there roles in the first advert. Everything ran smoothly but we didn't get all the footage recorded in the class time so we will have to do it next lesson. After we have finished recording we will be editing all the footage together in Adobe Premiere. We will do the green screen and more advanced editing later but for now we will be just cutting the footage together in the correct sequence and ensuring everything looks and sounds fine. Using the equipment was difficult at first but once we used it multiple times we learnt the routine on what to do. Another small problem we encountered was the Tascam audio recorder, it didn't sound very good as it was too quiet so we didn't use the correct settings. We will have to just use the camera microphone which picks up everything and is clear throughout.
